Whatever the materials used to insulate cavity walls there is a way of extracting it, and we guarantee 98% of cavity wall insulation is removed. SPMS Wales has a team of trained professionals who use a comprehensive extraction system supplied by Stewart energy, the only system on the market which uses a whipping assembly, and we are are able to complete the work efficiently and expertly. We are able to agree a cost which can be set on a square meter rate, and we even provide a video as evidence that the extraction has taken place and been completed effectively.
During the work it is important for us to ensure that all faulty insulation has been removed to leave the cavity wall absolutely clear. It is also important for us to note whether or not dampness and condensation has become an issue, and if so it is advised to leave the cavity wall for 6-8 weeks to ensure it is completely dry, before re-insulating it effectively. Post extraction we are then able to determine how to best insulate the home and then complete the job properly.
